I'm lending a hand to Frantic Games on their creation of a WWII game (yeah another one). For more information about the game head over to their website and view the FAQ on the forums.

1944 D-Day Operation Overlord

Here's my first model. Still a WIP but almost finished.

Nice, very nice. Do you do the texturing also? I'm a sucker for these types of games. I sure hope you have accurate references.
This is retarded, and I mean drooling at the mouth

That's one freaking sweet 88.

I doubt that this game would sell very well. The market is already completely saturated with WWII.

There are people on the team that there only job is research, and grab photo's and things.. Here are a *few* of my reference pictures I was given. Because of size I didn't upload them all. http://www.3dostudio.com/misc/pictures/1944dday/Howitzer/ref/

Well I'm not planning too, they have texture artist. So I'm hoping they can but if anyone here at massassi wants to take a shot at it feel free. I know they are recruiting for more members, and they outsource.

When it's textured, and added to a really cool render, I think I'd use it as a background.

But it'd have to be a good render.

Looks pretty damn sharp!

I assume that's the base of the 155mm Long Tom, and the barrel goes on top?

Zan, those are awesome.. Might want to put a bit more detail into the wheels, but then.. I guess with the right textures that won't be too big a deal.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Actually, a good side by side pic of the two models, even with only cheap textures, and I'd use that as my wallpaper. ;) :D
