The Last Bastion part 1 Online!

The Federation sends three starships to investigate the disappearance of the USS Compliance, a Galaxy-class starship lost in the Serova Rift.

In the Rift, a massive starship from a galaxy far, far away awaits them...

The Last Bastion part 2

In Part 2, the USS Riemann and the USS Heritage are put under the command of Captain Robert Anderson of the USS Guardian to investigate the disappearance of the USS Compliance in the Serova Rift.

Does anyone know if there's a good Star Destroyer bridge map available anywhere? I've looked almost everywhere, but haven't found anything that looks like the ISD bridge in the movies.

The background beep noises tend to overpower the voices.

Also, we all know that starfleet ships are slow as hell and can't even blow up fair sized asteroids. That better be nothing but a victory class star destroyer, and it better obliterate entire fleets!
Wikissassi sucks.

Let me say it now:

The millenium falcon's computers played simulated explosions as aural feedback for the gunners. They explained it in one of the novels. Why can't the star destroyer do that too?
Wikissassi sucks.

Such are the mysteries of Star Wars. Word has it that there's a secret laboratory somewhere devoted to finding out just where all those sounds came from, as well as all that music that nobody ever reacted to. No breakthroughs yet, although they've come close to finding out what stopped stormtroopers from ever being able to shoot a hero dead. Someday, my friends, someday.

Did you hear about those giant blocks of floating yellow text they've found? Now that's some creepy stuff.
Wikissassi sucks.

I think there might be one in the Star Wars Visual Dictionary book thingy.

Aye! I heard of peoples ships getting hit by the stuff.

Hyperspacing into the word "The" is not a pretty sight.

Didn't see your question before. Here you go.

uhmm.. the voice acting is absolutely horrid...

And the bridge doesn't shake enough at the end of the first one... Everyone knows that Star Trek bridges "shake like hell" whenever they get hit. In this, the people go falling all over the place, but the bridge is stationary.

Haven't watched part 2 yet.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

When you don't pay anyone for VOs, you're lucky to get people to do them at all.

haha understandable.

:)

You should consider soliciting for help from us Massassians. We've got some people here that are incredible talented when it comes to voice acting.

Okay, now that I was actually able to catch YouTube at a period of uptime...

Awesome. Just awesome. (Although I'd agree that the volume of sound effects vs. the volume of voices could be tweaked- It was hard to hear the female captain's voice.) Good fun, though. Never really seen too much of this pitting of one science fiction force against another. Unfortunately, it usually seems that the writer/director's favourite side always wins, but big deal. (For the record, I happen to like just about everything, but I'm putting my money on Unicron in this one. Unless the Autobots show up....)

So, about the bridge map. Looks like I misunderstood you, sorry. Would you like me to try building one for you? I'm on holiday now, so it wouldn't be a problem.

Thanks! I think "Captain Kraft" used a headphone mic. I tried tweaking it as much as I dared with Audacity. I'll give it another shot for the remaining episodes.

Sir, that would be fantastic! You'd get a credit in the flick, of course. How long would it take to make? And how..."canon" can you get it?

Thanks! I'm not sure about the release yet. I've just finished the costumes for the Star Destroyer crew, and am waiting for a bridge for them to act on! Then it will probably be a month or so putting it together, recording dialogue, etc.

It's released whenever I get my [BUM]* in gear, apparently. Well.... it's in gear. Can't believe how fast this is shaping up. Looks like I just need to hire our friend Poe here to in turn contract me for all those other things I'd like to do, someday.

Sounds like a plan! I have part 3 of a Zombie Flick trilogy I need to finish once I'm done with "The Last Bastion":

Zombie Flick, part 1: "Driver and Passenger"

Zombie Flick, part 2: "The Fluke"

If I need some weird locations for thatr one, I'll have you do a special map!

Anyway, here's a couple new shots of the Star Destroyer crew which will be seen in Part 3:

Uh... What the crap are those UFP uniforms? I pray you weren't trying to adhere to anything I've ever heard of.

Edit: Nevermind, I could care less. I'm too busy laughing at the people flying around. Good show!
