I am aware there is a texturing error and i aligned one of those pipes wrong. It's already fixed, and I'll be damned if I'll do another 3-hour compile just to show that little thing.

Interesting. I like the architecture- lighting seems a little bright in some places, though.

Wha- wait... Did you say a three hour compile? I trust that this is with detail brushes?

Yeah- everything that isn't the basic architecture of this level is a detail brush. Only the brushes that are absolutely essential to keep it leak-free is structural.

Looks nice, the only thing that bothers me are the light columns coming off of the smaller lights in shots in 1 and 3

Actually, doing 'everything is detail' can be just as detrimental to performance as not using detail brushes at all. You need structural brushes to block vis. If you've got large detail brushes that block the player's view, you should definitely make them structural and see if it helps.

Also, do test compiles without lighting. Duh.

I do my test compiles with lighting when I want to take screenshots and when I want to, y'know, test lighting. I do just BSP every other time, and that takes like 15 minutes.

You should allow the patches and pipes to emit a shadow through the compile.
Also I think the metal texturing is way too overwhelming at times. It makes the rooms seem bland.

Keep up the work though!

I'm a lousy jedi that just kind of ran at the whole garrison of them with just level 2 saber block. Pretty acrobatics be damned. All those that are dead- are dead by thier own lasers.
