One of my countless products of boredom:
I've been working on this box for quite some time now and it's still not finished.

Box:

I don't like the back, and have no ideas on how to fix it. (Can't quite point my finger on the problem...)

Disc:

I'm quite happy with this piece, it's simple as intended.

While the actual game is nowhere near being finished, at least the box is being worked on... what do you think? I really need some constructive comments.

I would move the top and bottom thumbnails to the left rather than the right personally, I think that could make it look better.

And maybe a second Quote to fill up the black space around the first.

Also, maybe a different font...

I agree with Sarn about the font, not sure what'd be good to replace it though.
The yellow font at the top of the back is good, just the large block of text.

And the back might look alot better if it wern't so striaghtlined.
Everything is just sorta straight vertial, kinda boring.

After a quick google of DVD covers, there's hardly a one that uses a similar format.

Move the images around, change the sizes, maby add a background image.

Give the eye somewhere to move other than just straight down.

hm, shifted the images and the text, still looks rather odd:

still alittle odd, but alot better.

Might help it now to lower the image on the right so that the upper paragraph isn't chopped up like that, and maby make that image alittle bigger so it fills that space more.

THat might leave too much space below the top image though. not sure.

But you're on the right track, just keep messing with it.

[edit]also, with that image on the right, not sure if it's a big concern but it's probably be better if the character were looking to the left. stinks that images has text so you can't just flip it.
I say that because with him looking off to the right it leads your eye off the package rather than back into the rest of the page.

It would also help if the background was busier rather than just a gradient.

The boxes at the bottom look odd, try getting rid of the table borders and letting the gradient show through.

tried fitting the text a little better and added some background stuff to the back. I don't really want to lose the table border, it looks even more odd without it.

Yeah, it looks pretty good now. The text blocks are still a bit too big, though. It looks like a lot of text, although it's pretty short actually. Just a minor flaw :P.

I still don't like the font though. but that could just be me.
