Its time to revisit the infamous "Acid Moon"

That's like if someone was creating a CTF map and you despised CTF, and made a comment such as "CTF is lame omgz kthx i dont like flags so it sux". And telling him what he should edit and what he shouldn't is his decision, not yours.

Seriously, just because you don't like the purpose of the map does not mean others will not. It is never very encouraging to hear replies like that, not to mention it's just pretty rude.

Although asp executed his title on the forums perfectly, at least his post was legitimate and not idiotic like some of you guys' previous posts.

We're not trying to encourage him, and your CTF comparison is apples and oranges.

He's making a deliberately malicious level for a stupid hacker clan. I don't think he's entitled to artistic liberties when he's planning to screw people over.

Screw people over? They chose to enter wraith infested territory in the first place. Its there own fault. Were the JKA version of firefly's Reavers. We go to other servers and saber people like madmen. Then in our territory we rape, canablize, kill, and skin anyone who isen't wraith that enters. And there lucky if we do it in that order. Were EXACTLY like reavers so every fierce clan needs a killer map. If they come onto the server (I doubt other servers will use the acidmoon) and they NOTICE the map says "Acidmoon" they know there entering wraith space.

In some ways We are. Unlike other lamer clans we actually have a story line. An insane religious cult.

while 99% of the game is emulating Everything they saw in Ep1 to Ep3 Jedi Orders, Senates, etc.

Were emulating the Reavers. And we took certain counterparts from other villians and adapt them so in many ways ya we are roleplayers.

And for those people here who don't know of the Reavers

...how are they any more "lame" than you for using SW story elements to roleplay in a Star Wars game when you're pretending to be retarded space pirate zombies from a completely different show/movie?

How are they retarded? For there animalistic ways they can command starships and use guns. not to mention cordinate raids and come up with clever plans of capturing ships, oh and for some odd reason they don't attack one another. They remind me alot of what we do. When this clan started two years ago we would use insurgant style tatics, Like running into a crowd of players chatting with detpacks and blowing ourselves up. We also to used WW2 style kamikaze runs in Xwings when we were out of missles or/and the ship was to damaged to take another shot. We would look for a crowd of players on the ground and slam on the turbo right into them.

There's no intelligence driving the Reavers to do what they do, just their savage animal nature.

So in other words, if you feel similar to them, you're just another monkey who has found a group of other monkeys who use their only "skill", ravaging things, to have fun.

But hey, whatever floats your boat.

From experience I can notice that arguing against such persons doesn't even compensate the 10-20 seconds I spend writing these forum messages, so if you have new screenshots (the latest one looked neat), bring them on.

I'm not exactly looking to derail. Your level looks good...I suppose. I just thought it was funny that you're calling people lame for roleplaying in a Star Wars game using Star Wars story elements while you're trying to make pretending to be reavers in a Star Wars game sound like the most bad *** and hard core thing there is.

The internal architecture looks good, you might work on the texturing bit though. The trouble lies in the fact that everything is contained in bland boxes, and if they're like every other clan map I've played, they are connected with no thought to flow, but rather they are set up like an office building. If you just want to use the map to interact with other clan members not game play, I suggest you take a look at this. If not, try building a blank map and get the flow right and then add complex objects to complete the atmosphere. Also, try to break up the rooms so they are not just boxes. Boxes are bad.

The map looks okay, and the sinister darkness will make for great saber battles which is something that Jedi Academy is all about (however saber battles are what im always awful at). I also think the skybox goes well with the dark textures. Its pretty darn good for a clan map as well. :)

Wait, wait, wait. This is a map for Jedi Knight : Arena? I thought it was for Jedi Academy, but Jedi Knight : Jedi Academy can never be abbreviated as JKA, so I must be wrong.
