Hey folks!

I was rather unpleased with some of the older images for my so far released models, so I've now started re-rendering and re-editing them. I'll update this thread whenever I have a new set of pictures done.

That first picture is my favorite, it looks so cool. These pics look really excellent man, keep up the amazingly good work as usual.

If you ported those to Freelancer would they look better than XWA? It's been a long time since I've played either, but I think I remember freelancer having pretty kick *** graphics for the time. Although, XWA was about the most beautiful game in existence when it came out.

Heh, in fact some of them are.

You can find the Inferno-I Destroyer in the TIE Universe Mod, orbiting New Berlin ;D

I had asked for help to port the others over to freelancer at the LR forums, but no success. Or what's worse: one of the mods just took some of the fighters without informing - not to mention asking - me.

The only negative thing I can say is that on the last picture, the hull texture looks a bit stretched out.

Every single other thing looks like perfection, however.

Well, I hadn't made the shots in WP size in the first place, so I'd have to re-render the thing. But for now I think I found a solution that should suit you well ;)

That second picture of the Inferno Mk2 reminded me an aweful lot of the Romulan Warbird from Star Trek (and that's a good thing by the way). Fascinating pictures, it looks like gameplay must be beautiful. I'll have to dust off my XWA CD some time and give it a try.

I must point out that you shouldn't add engine glow to engines that aren't visible, like on that small fighter in the second to last image.

I myself should point out that this is no small fighter but a yacht somewhat as big as the Falcon :)

The Combat yacht, especially the many modified versions, is pretty much the bridge between a fighter and a shuttle craft.
