The Cheetah
Silence takes the room by chance
As the cheetah marks it's prey
An opportune time to advance
Leaves the cheetah in dismay
The prey stops in a mid walk
It's eyes are calm and steady
Yet it still stares as if to mock
As if it knows it is not ready
Almost as if there was a life
That shared between the two
But still the cheetah felt the strife
Between their points of view
Yet the cheetah must insist
As he pushes one last time
But the preys want to persist
Persists it's pressing mime
Stuck at opposite sides of fate
The cheetah and it's prey
Decide that maybe they can wait
And meet another day
Silence takes the room by chance
As the cheetah marks it's prey
An opportune time to advance
Leaves the cheetah in dismay
The prey stops in a mid walk
It's eyes are calm and steady
Yet it still stares as if to mock
As if it knows it is not ready
Almost as if there was a life
That shared between the two
But still the cheetah felt the strife
Between their points of view
Yet the cheetah must insist
As he pushes one last time
But the preys want to persist
Persists it's pressing mime
Stuck at opposite sides of fate
The cheetah and it's prey
Decide that maybe they can wait
And meet another day
Think while it's still legal.
