Nice one, Blood Asp! I had the honor of playing "Circline" not too long ago with Echoman, but I think the other three maps far outshine it in terms of detail and replayability. I love the new lighting affects as well - the tint, or shading, or however you do it adds a unique atmosphere to each of the four maps, while still retaining the feeling of unity every level pack should have.

Also, is the image limit only five per post now?

(EDIT: however, if I was to have one gripe, it is that you have a map tinged with purple, with orange, but then two with blue - wouldn't it be better to have a green themed map, to add more diversity and reduce the repetitiveness?)

Good point. I think I'll make Circline the green-tinted one. Also, if there's anything you don't like about Circline, what would it be? Is there anything that I can do to make it have more replay value in your mind?

All of the textures are bland and flat. Nothing interresting to look at.

And you smell like badger-breath.

Wow, very nice Blood Asp, it already looks better. I'm glad my suggestions were useful.

As for what else to change or add? Hmm, well that's a problem, since you don't want to make it too complicated otherwise "Circline" will be too dissimilar to the other levels in the pack. I have several aesthetic ideas, but they would probably hinder gameplay and disrupt the fast-paced, low-lag nature of the map.

The only additional thing I could suggest is perhaps add a girder (texture or archi) or some "emblem" on each of the four walls above the upper walkway. You could possibly have lights (textures or models) or just something to put over those very bare walls.

Actually, there might be something else.

At the moment, does that central light beam/sector do anything if you are inside of it? Because when I played with Echoman, there was really no point to going up there since the lightbeam illuminated you, making you an easy target. If, however, the beam's sector gave you health (like Unreal Tournament's "Healpod") or some other advantage, then it would encourage people to go up there. Otherwise, you're just limiting that part of the map's usage, which you don't want to do with small levels, such as "Circline," which boast precious little space.

You seem to be focusing on the gameplay style or arena levels which you make quite well. I like recourse the best. However I would like to see more of the style of your DM-Onslaught level, that was sweet.

It's a healing sector. I accidentally overrode the sector tint on that when I put tint in for the rest of the map. :o

Oh, ok, my bad - I should have realized that (I've done the same on some of my maps).
