I got some funky thing going on in the hanger, where it was like XWA was deciding to generate a random triangle here and there... quite odd. Anyway, the detail of these ships are amazing, so amazing, my P4 2.93ghz GeForce FX 5500 256mb was chop chop choppity chop chop under 1024*768. Turned down some detail and went with 640*480 and it was playable. That's when I noticed some of the ships are missing LODs too...

All in all it seems maybe you could further expand on this Ep3 flying extravaganza by having some 501st related missions perhaps?

Two possibilities:
- XWA simply wasn't made to handle detail (or "awesome" if you prefer) like this.
- Your video card is running too hot. If you start getting this problem in different, unrelated 3d games try underclocking a tad and hope it goes away.

My intuitive sense says option #1.

It was only in the hanger, I looked around in external view while in-flight and everything was okey dokey.

The funky trinangling normally is an indicator for an OPT having too many faces in one or more meshes or the maps not being applied properly.

This is odd, since any EP3 ship found in the hangar, is found in the mission, too, and works perfectly.

Maybe there's a limit in the hangar scene?

Nope, I doubt that. I had other constellations with e.g. the Blue Phantom Project that had equally many faces.

Could be the Lambda Shuttle, it's the only OPT not in the mission(amongst the Y-Wings and A-Wings)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is a problem with the v1.0 uninstall function which, when run, will delete more folders from your start menu than it should. Darksaber is currently working on an update for the whole patch. But for now, here is a hotfix for the current version:

If you have installed the v1.0 patch, please download this v1.0 HOTFIX to replace the defected uninstall utility in your XWA directory.
