Yeah... fixed focal length lenses under 100mm are usually real cheap. Anything higher than 100mm that is faster than 2.8 is usually expensive as hell.

Yeah the DOF in that last pic is f-ing awesome.

I use a 55mm Canon lense on my video camera and i love getting shots like that. The only difference is mine are high-def video.

A really detailed picture and its the tower with cross which seems to stand out very well. Good stuff :).

what might be interesting to see is the sky and tree B&W and just the tower & cross in color.
