No, it's not JK.

I'm working on a map for Company of Heroes. The only problem is, its as dull as rocks. It looks pretty nice, and I feel like I hit the whole "Brecourt" thing pretty good. It's a 2 v 2 map, and I'm afraid I may have made it too big. There's a lot of walking around (perhaps too much.) I also put four flak88's in the map, despite the fact that those weren't the guns they were trying to blow up in real life. It makes for an interesting game, but I'm most likely going to take them out (or maybe make it so you can't capture them). I don't know how many of you play Company of Heroes, but tips or suggestions on appearance/gameplay would rock.

The red arrows mark the guns, the blue arrows mark the victory points.

Hills are what made that battle. Also, consider putting the hq's at the end of a road or something with barricades behind them, the box of trees would be a little silly.

Yes, the box of trees is kind of silly. I suggest looking at Call of Duty's Brecourt, though I agree that you've captured the essence of most Brecourt maps fairly well. I don't know how hard it would be with whatever map editor you're using, but some underground bunker-ish parts to your trenches might be cool. Maybe a blown-up tank for decoration?

Underground bunkers are impossible. I'll add some blown up tanks for cover and such.

Would a couple farmhouses around the sides be too out of place?

The box of trees thing will definitely go. I just threw those up for starters (there will be a lot of openings in those trees.)
