Yes, but the plates are quite massive. You could just about fit enough food on one to satisfy Michael Moore.

Hey make sure that you make it so that if the buildings collapse they look like they got blown up just to throw off the crazies.

You should make a secret room where we can make-out once it's built.

I was going to invite him to site and drop one of the bigger columns on him and have his remains hidden in the column's in-situ concrete encasement but I suspect the cat's out of the bag now...

The bottom stacks of two of the columns are 634kg/m. The base plates on them are about 90mm thick. They're heavy.

(Oh, and Vin - we don't need anywhere secret: everyone knows I'm a man-whore :P )

I hope those floors are transparent for the sake of being able to keep check of what you're doing and not that you're suggesting that it should have nothing but glass floors. =D (Although that would be kinda nifty, but impractical)

That program looks fun as hell to mess around with. What is it?

And i have no idea how to critique a bulding. It looks very..Stable?

Fastrak Building Designer - www.cscworld.com

And stable it is, there's an in-situ Slipform concrete shear wall for stability (you can see it in the middle at the back) as well as a vertically braced bay tying the other side of the building back down to foundation. It is sway sensitive in the Y plane but we've taken account of that.

And it was fun for a while (and will be again when I get off this damn job) but this project has been going on since January for me and I'm ready for a change.
