Please, google "catgirl" and you'll see a strange occurrence. It looks like everyone stole your ideas. What you've drawn is very well done, and it's 5 times what I could do. It's just that it's been done by everyone else 500 times. It's also really antagonizing to women, and last but not least, it's borderline pedophilia.

Oh, and I hardly do this with what everyone posts. You'd just like to think that.

how is it borderline pedophilia?? whatever it is, it definitely looks legal.

are you serious? damnit! i thought that blinking thing on his chest controlled the vibration

edit: xzero if u draw non-furry for massassi, leave out your self-admitted weakest point (clothes). do it for darth vader!

At least they look mostly human. They're anime girls with tails.

So help me God if I see an anthropomorphized fox sexually aroused, I will maim people and the first on my list is....Gebohq.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.
2007-07-25, 8:53 AM #45
I hear Centaurs make Gebohq horny as a 12 year old boy in a porno factory.
Think while it's still legal.
2007-07-25, 11:12 AM #46
But not as horny as a SAJN in a 12 year old boy factory!
2007-07-25, 12:52 PM #47
Lol No more foxes for massassi. :)

I was thinking of making a pic of Jan, seeing as how I'm much better at drawing the female form then the male one.

Darth Vader sounds awesome, I think I'll try it :)

Better at drawing females, bad at drawing clothes, and (quite obviously) not a fan of realism and realstic shading.

I think you just confirmed all stereotypes on anime there are. :gonk:

Great artwork! My biggest criticism is the face. As mentioned before, it's just so generic. My first thought when I saw it was, "It looks like a Neo-Pet"

For future:
Furries=bad
Yaoi=bad
Boobies=good

Lol I used to xD

Okay, here's another pic. It's one of my other characters, Sia (Inari's old form before she finds the mirror).

I was trying as hard as possible to hide anything I didn't want in view, but unfortunately, the suit doesn't permit :S

Oh well, like you said, Boobies=good :D

Not these.

Also, yeah, lots of skill, but wasted skill. The story makes it even more creepy. That thing was originally a guy?

Okay this one really bothers me?

Realistic shading is BORING. If I wanted something with realistic gradations and "shading," I'd go take a photo, because photos are always perfect.

You don't have to use "realistic shading" to immitate a light, because anything visual is afterall just an interpretation of lightning.

Another reason I hate Deviant Art. :argh:

I don't understand this pic at all... it kind of reminds me of tub girl though.

You're a decent artist, you just need to work on getting everything the right perspective and proportions and stuff.
2007-07-30, 2:00 AM #65
I honestly think that "Your art reminds me of TubGirl" is like the worst thing it is possible for a critic to say to an artist about his/her artwork.

Way to go, Vinny. (btw, I love you man, you're hawt)

What's there to understand about that pic?
2007-07-30, 5:23 PM #68
It's not immediately apparent what the position of the figure is... I couldn't tell if she was on her knees and bent over, or what, for a short while...
2007-07-30, 6:01 PM #69
Noone ever does, even though, I can see it perfectly. Even the person I made it for knew how she was posed, so I think it's just that you guys don't have much of an eye for this kind of thing.
2007-07-30, 6:17 PM #70
You're right and everyone else is wrong.

It looks like the most uncomfortable post ever though.
2007-07-30, 10:32 PM #71
I know that I can do that pose comfortably, but so far, most of the people I asked can't, so I guess I can see your point.

That's pretty silly, man. Your drawing must include the correct effects of shading and whatnot to create the illusion of depth and form... The rear end is hardly shaded... it is quite flat, and that's fine, but as a result it doesn't suggest volume and depth as well, and it's hard to immediately distinguish what's going on back there. We have fine "eyes for that kind of thing"... it's depth perception, your drawing is just lacking some of the necessary "clues," so to speak, that suggest the form.

If 'no one ever does,' I'd suggest reevaluating how well you've portrayed that form. That said, the linework is very nice... the foreshortening and the sizing of the legs and rear are quite well done, it's just the uniformity of value that make it hard to understand at first glance.
2007-07-31, 4:01 PM #73
I've been wondering what's been off in these pictures and it's the depth perception. I have a very hard time seeing it without glasses, but I can notice when it's pretty far off. I like the coloring, but do agree that the shading needs work (as it will add to the depth perception.) Actually, my favorite part about these pictures are all the colors. :neckbeard:

Anyways, I like them...contrary to most of the people here and it's not because of the boobs that I like them. (The boobs in the first picture are strange, but I just interpreted it as your style.) Also, the pose isn't that hard to do. It's the depth perception that makes it look near impossible to do. Actually, that is actually a nice stretch for the back.

Okay...I'll stop babbling and return to studying. >_>
"Ford, you're turning into a penguin. Stop it."
2007-07-31, 9:37 PM #74
Oh. lol

All of my drawings up to date are practice drawings - I'm practicing work on the shading (it's the hardest thing to do, after all).

I see exactly what you mean, it took me hours to get what I managed to actually get out of it (at that point I had no idea how to shade it since I'm used to Cell-Shading, and these pics are a try at Softshading. The transition is pretty hard :S)
If someone could point me in a good direction to learn how to shade, It'd be really appreciated. :D
