So, i bought a new camera. a Canon PowerShot A630. I was going to get a Panasonic DMC-FZ8, but the store would've needed to order it, and another store had it for 70e more so i decided to go with this instead.

Useless because they are not in DESKTOP RESOLUTION

But good shots nonetheless. Very impressive. Marvelous. New York art scene material (mb would be proud).

These are actually ridiculously impressive shots. I really like several of them, and I think a few of them could be very[/i] cool with some digital enhancing. Namely, 'My friend's car #2', 'Seashore', and 'An abandoned house & barn'.

Very good photos, 'koski1' is probably my favorite, 'ranta' reminds me of a 1800s Finnish painting for some reason and I just like the way you got all those polar bears pose on that icy road in 'puisto3'. Marvellous.

Oh, yeah, they were all taken with a tripod, except for 'a River' and 'An abandoned house & barn', which were taken by hand. I had to take like, 50 shots until i got one that actually looks good :)

i'm only unimpressed with the choice of camera. the work itself is nice. it just goes to prove once again its not the camera its the photographer.
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

End of Summer

I went to take some pictures of an empty beach, and just as i was leaving, it started to rain, so i got a nice picture of the raindrops falling on the sea as well. I've never seen the sea so calm.

Of the first set, I felt like they were all one Fstop too dark. You lost a lot of detail in a lot of the pictures because of the darkness. Exception to this being the sun-behind-the-memorial picture. That was great.

all the photos look like hte color is desaturated a lot.

The memorial picture was just amazing, it's my favorite of the set.
