Ok, not a society, just my poem, but I thought the title was fitting =p

What's been has gone,
what's done is done
The life I had is finished
My hopes my dreams
my soul, it seems
So cold and so diminished

The futures gone
the past is wrong
The love I felt has left me
Lies on the floor
it beats no more
the heart you stole so deftly.

Cannot restore the life I knew
cannot forgive, nor forget you
What is this dying soul to do?
Now that things have come to end
why must all things end?

Life is full of changes
most of them are bad
Theres no comparing what I'll get
with everything I had

Yes theres more fish in the ocean
but I'm done fishing now
They say time will heal all wounds
but I cannot see how

The next ones just around the corner...
the next ones not for me
When a door is closed a windows opened
through which I cannot see

Life is like a box of chocolates
and all mine have been eaten
Get back on that horse they say
that horse, it has me beaten

And better to have loved and lost
then never loved at all?
To climb the tallest mountain
and fall the greatest fall?
That is the biggest lie of all

Theres no end with no beginning
no loss when theres no winning
no death without the living
Ah death, it does seem fitting -now
for as I sing I'm thinking -how
to end it

I also have a happy poem I wrote a while ago I could share if I could be bothered finding it

Great! :D
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

This isn't emo, it's just depressing.
Trust me, you don't want to read actual emo poetry

Kinda emo, but well written with good rhythm and a nice rhyme scheme.

I like.

I was half-expecting a Robin Williams skin.
