seriously. i dont like poetry as a rule, but this stupid class i have to write it, so heres another one, and this **** is real no angsty bull****.

“It's Never Painless”

We all know it
We all hum it
That tune we knew for
Ten years
Or at least our parents did.

But they got it wrong
Those two
There is always someone
Waiting at home

The burden of finance
Placed upon an already
Struggling family
Of hospital stays
And the fear

Not knowing if
Or when you'll
Come home where
Even if we don't
Always say it

We love you

Yes there are problems
Yes it's never perfect
Yes we don't take the time
To really do what matters

But in this world
Of love and politics
Life is worth living
In debt surrounded by
Beauty and family
Pain means nothing

Its not an easy
Way out not
For us
And though it may not
Hurt

Suicide is never painless
