Been a while since I posted anything. So, here's some of my scribblings.
I was asked to start putting more effort into the coloring and such than I had previously, so I used a coloring tutorial from Y-Gallery to learn the sweet science.
Wow, in retrospect, I'm a really ****ty artist.
Anyways, here's some of my stuff. In the first one, the halberd is rather stunted and small, as I had wanted to show the head of it so it was clear what it was he was holding. And I lack the talent to draw hands in photoshop, or I'd have moved his arm up. :(
In the second, it only looks like he's copping a feel because the hand sucked really bad, so I had to hide it.

-Both are characters other people asked me to draw for them.

Hey thats not that bad! I think the biggest thing you need to work on is the anatomy. People arent the easiest things to draw!

Im not sure how you had been doing it, but I find if you draw out the basic form first that tends to help. Pick up an anatomy book and try to draw those forms. (Hell if youre really interested, maybe sign up for a figure drawing class)

I really like the guy in the jacket, except it looks like his left wrist is broken. Also if youre looking into getting more textures in your drawings, try using some photoshop brushes to add some detail.

I like them, the style you use works pretty well, the only thing I'd focus on more is the hands, You said you have trouble with them, so try working on them alot more.

try some tutorials online about drawing hands specificly, and then find a style of hands that suits your characters, you don't have to make them realistic, as long as they suit the character and don't look weird.

don't try to hide them, I used to hide my hands all the time, but after you learn how to draw them well it's easier and you'll find a good style. Look at your own hands and try to draw them.

Remember tho, your characters are not realistic, so neither should your hands, it'd look weird to have a cartoony fantasy character and have realistic hands.

Keep it up, I really like the (dark elf?) guy in the jacket in the second picture.

In the last pic, is the dark guy feeling up the green dude?

Background info: He's an orc of some tribe or another that makes clothes out of snow-tiger furs. It's all draped over what's no doubt some kind of leather belt.

-Originally, I had his hands back behind him not to hide them, but because he was hiding something from the Drow (hence the hand held out). But then I never finished that part and just made it look like he was wringing his hands.
