Now it's time for my second mandatory assignment.
It's going to be a ride film(rollercoasterish-film).
I've teamed up with another student on this and finished the script today.

I started modeling today:

It's a exploration-ship heading for a planet.
They're obviously not finished
Can't tell much about the film yet

Judging by that model, I have to ask if it involves any molding crows?
Can you tell me what you mean by "rollercoasterish-film"? The only think that comes to mind from that phrase (aside from roller coasters) is constant action thrill ride...

I recently played through Mass Effect, so most of my inspiration is from there(either I like it or not)

i like where the ship is going, but i think it needs more room in the body to accommodation non-midget people height... unless of course you are hiring out for midgets in this?

I think he's referring to the other ship (the crow looking one). It's hard to judge it's scale without any other reference though.

My $0.02 on the ship:

I like the overall detail and design. However, if it were my model, I would consider one or all of the following:
- Possibly make the cockpit part taller, or at least have some variation in thickness along the length of it. It looks oddly small and thin right now
- Tilt the cockpit down a bit. Right now it's adding a lot to the 2D-ness of the ship. By tilting it down it would a) offer the pilot a better view, and b) add some variation to the model
- Shrink the cockpit a bit. In the bottom view, it looks like the entire ship is the cockpit and 2 engines. It wouldn't hurt to either add some bulk in the main part of the ship, or shrink the cockpit down a bit.

Looks like someone bolted on the cockpit of an Imperial shuttle onto a garbage scow.

I'm going to remake the cockpit into something more out of Aliens.

Descent Pilot beats me it looks more like the raven than the crow.
