A candle sits beside my head
It's pulse, a silent breath
If not for night, it would be dead
And I'm not one for death

I reach across my silk thread sheet
And pull them to my neck
But now a problem for my feet
My sheets have me in check

My fleeting eyes decide to sink
My mind is now at ease
For nights without a single wink,
A candle with a breeze
Think while it's still legal.

I actually like this one quite a lot. Well done.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

It's good. It's clever enough to make me smile a little and it doesn't sound completely self-important.

Say silk thread sheets, since you say you pull "them" to your neck.

And this is just an idea, but the line where you say "but now a problem for my feet" is the only line where you don't have an action to really make it work. It's obvious that you are implying that your feet are cold because your sheets aren't covering them, but maybe you should say something else while staying in meter. This isn't very good but it sort of gives an idea:

I reach across my silk thread sheets
And pull them to my neck
Exposing grimly chilling feet
My sheets have me in check
