Well, nothing special. Right now, I'm in the process of redoingg parts of my Black Scorpion model. While tinkering with the new model I did some quick renderings of the ingame model and found a rather nice perspective from within the cockpit.

As of now the interior model and texures, since from Exterior model are rather low in detail. I' might make a model combining the ockpit and exterior OPT for rendering purposes ... that might turn out rather interesting ... :D

First, lens flare.

Second, how come all the buttons and such are so bright and colorful yet the space of the cockpit is dead black? In other words, the sharp contrast is way too striking.

That lens flare actually makes sense.

No it doesn't, cockpits aren't lenses.

it makes sense if you were standing there and took a picture.

stop being elitists.

also, very pretty.. but BLURRY. :( (and the comment about the contrast above)
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

That's not elitism, that's just being nitpicky, much like this post :P

I didn't say that I didn't like the effort. But the vast contrast with everything is a valid comment.

I'd hate to be in a spaceship like that where you could be so easily blinded. :ninja: Still, very nice, and I think the contrast is done well.

Well, normally, when flying it you'd be seeing something like this...

An airplane cockpit will look like this with all the lights off.

There are additional adjustments for dimming instruments and buttons. I don't see how it would be any different on a spaceship.
