I've already added it ingame and so far it doesnt look as good as milkshape, jk limits, go figure.
Technical info:
On fully automatic, it fires 3.8mm rounds at 780 m/s (mach 3 ish) at a rate of 1500 rounds per minute.
A cylinder clip containing 500 rounds fits at the back. However, each round is only a 3.8mm silicon/iron point. It has no explosive cartridge.
The bullets are fired using a 12kJ rail accelerator. The huge energy required comes from a cell of liquid naquadaa (pic 5) in the fore of the gun.
After firing continuously for over 3 seconds the barrel's temperature ceases to remain superconducting, and naquadaa coil temperature exceeds safe levels, the grip will open to reveal the powersource and allow cool air to lower the temperature inside the gun (4 seconds is usually enough).
This can also be done manually.
On semi automatic, the function of the gun changes somewhat.
Energy is charged up through gallium nitride crystals, and releases 30 kJ into the emf accelerator, firing 3 rounds in a row (such as metal storm technology)
Here, the velocity of the projectiles exceed 2000 m/s (erm, really f***ing fast). This releases a muzzle flash of plasma and the 3 rounds fired usually vapourize within a second.
Due to intense speed however,a round usually reaches its target in a fraction of that time, and channels its kinetic and thermal energy into both penetrating and annihilating the target.
The trajectory of the weapon is controlled by a computer aimed barrel. high tension pistons allign the barrel towards a target (recognised my the computer camera) using laser aimers, static, and moveable.
