Can't watch it now, but since I suppose it's continuation to your earlier Metroid mod (one of the greatest mods for JK ever)...

... did you fix the dying crashing issue? :P

Yep, fixed the crashing bug, a few minutes ago actually. Turns out there was a neatly hidden SetPulse in the startup code that was causing all the fuss. :)

btw, in case anyone is wondering, you need the FRAPS codec to play this.
Lyrics are highly overrated.

The 2.5 fraps codec is too old to play the movie.

The 2.96 one doesn't work.

[Edit: pfft you actually have to install Fraps. :(

I highly doubt it. It's probably a 3do in front of the camera.

I wish I could say yes, but Vegiemaster is right - it's a 3do in front of the camera( albeit carefully placed by trial and error for around 15 hours - it's built onto the weapon model to reduce the amount of FireProjectiles needed.)

That was my second guess. I suppose I should have guessed that first since it wiggles. Can you make it not wiggle?

You don't want it to move? Heh, I spent all weekend trying to get that working right :P

That kind of defeats the purpose though, since I'm trying to make it similar to the regular game. But yeah, I could stop it from wiggling...

It wiggles in Metroid Prime? I would play it again, except I don't have time to be totally pissed off by every enemy taking half my rockets to kill.

Alright, so I just finished adding wide-screen options. How cool am I? xD
My favorite part, is that in widescreen, you ACTUALLY GET the wider view area that you should. ;)

Anyway, needs some slight work for the display section in widescreen mode (I'm already nearly done fixing it).

I don't like widescreen cause it makes the job of HUD placement by 3dos all that much more difficult...looks good tho ;)

I haven't thought about it. So far I've pretty much ignored JKs regular HUD stuff completely.

And thanks SithGhost :D

Stay tuned, I've made some progress with the morph ball (thanks to Hellraiser and Spiral) and the HUD.

I think he did that to cover up the seam in the textures.

Hehe, thanks for the comments everyone!

I'm working on yet ANOTHER HUD model (this one will be the last. Promise.) As well as making the new weapon model and Samus' Ship for SP cutscenes and what have you. I'll update when they're done.

My next move would be improving the projectiles, tweaking the controls to optimise it, and start making some enemies.

YES! It already does! :D

I'm planning on different weapon modes, for sure. Which ones, I'm not sure of, but they will be there. I may very well base this mod on one of the existing 2d Metroid games, but we'll see.

Anyway, back to work I go!
