tackling random NeS stuff

So I'm hoping to encourage people to possibly do "parts" of NeS as a comic, at least for now. I've seemed to have intrigued JM enough to have him try a hand at some very quick sketches of Gebohq and the Taxman (known as Rod). Perhaps in the near future, we may see more?

A random fat man (actually an attempt of the Taxman before I described him)

Give feedback, post your own NeS-related art, spark stuff here!

I still don't like Rod's legs. I think I'm going to try high heels.

I hate taxman's knees.

Meh. I'll give it a shot. Very early concept designs.

I like the robot wearing a suit.

So do I, actually, though I think it'd make a better tax-minion myself. :v:

And Geb with a cigarette... never saw that coming in a million years. You might have something going there with the shirt that says "Geb" though... :ninja:

Oh. For a minute there I thought the extractor came out of his chest.

noticed it might be too light to see on laptop screens. Weird scanner. I can remove the "extractor" if you don't like it.

Nah, it's fine.

Just to clarify, this is a "everyone for themselves" sort of thing, so if you're interested in turning any sketches into actual comics, let me know, and I'd be more than happy to help out. There's a chance I'll post any guest comics as such on the NeS comic website too, but we'll see about that.

Keep at it all! :)

But it when comes to the NES, I don't know any characters. I was picking details here and there.

Yeah, that's understandable. Neither did JM, though. He just made some specific requests on what he would tackle, and I found some posts that fit the bill for him to chose one, and then I provided some details on the characters and that's how he's made the two sketches so far.

The first two posts of the NeS workshop has a bunch of character profiles and summaries of the various storylines if anyone wants to go diving into it themselves. JM will be attempting a scene from the second chapter of the first 'age of NeShattered, as it was one of the few with minimal characters (2) and involved some dramatic fighting.
