I decided to upload the first JKsg1 cutscene on my JKHUB page, just over 10 megs (due to sounds mainly).

Its about 2 mins long :S

I only have fraps, and not enough disk space for a massive avi, let alone the tech know how to compress it and upload it anywhere

Unfortunately the skybox texture and the Stargate texture were aligned weird and cut up wrong... other than that it was great.

And I DID the 512 thing.

You don't need to register to download the client. Does it let you save videos locally? Can you save them raw or in a codec of your choice, or does it use a format specific to their site?

[Edit: Doesn't run on 7. Just quits when run for no apparent reason. Looks like it uses standard codec encoding, which may mean it'll save files locally too.]

It's in the video options. "3d acceleration max texture size" or something. It's normally set to 1.
