It makes me sad that Samus would be reduced to the crap graphics of the wii, and crap controls.

As a graphic designer, I can say that you have a solid design on your hands. The only thing I would advise changing at the 3 lines of text at the top of the picture, on the backside. The space between then should be no bigger than that seperating the first line from the top white frame, because right now it looks thrown in to fit the picture. In proper graphic design, you want to fit pictures according to your layout and text, not the other way around.

I thought Metroid looked great on the Wii. Certainly not 360/PS3 quality, but it was good enough for me.

FYI Prime 1 and 2 are going to be ported to Wii with 3's controls. I hope they don't charge full price... or even the full game (something like a patch that you could download on Wii Shop... but if Nintendo did that the first thing they would patch would be the Twilight Hack exploit).

I don't see why they would do that; homebrew sells consoles for them. If anything, Microsoft's XNA / creators club stuff will spur nintendo to support homebrew themselves.
