I like it, most of all, lots of good texture and lighting work. The archi looks good too, but archi is nothing without great texture and lighting work.

Status update:
Man, I haven't worked on the archi since May 1st due to stuff (mostly seeing how GSX has progressed and including some of the updates in TODOA). But the gameplay plan for the second level is 100% complete so even if the rest of the project fails, the middle part should turn out OK!

I know, but some corridors are just too mundane (more mundane than the rest of the level, even) to be fancified with dynamic lights and stuff.

Oh well. I'm going to revamp a lot of things (mostly lighting related) before release anyhow.

I like this a lot, but in the last series of pictures I'm not really so sure that there needs to be a walkway. It's kind of odd, it almost looks like a lite-brite red carpet.

At this point I would say that the project is 50% complete. It will have 3 levels with playable content and I'm finished with most of the gameplay areas of the second level - the other two levels will be much shorter. Of course, that still means that the cutscenes need to be made and I need voice actors... and Darth Vader's going to be the hardest one to get and nobody knows where DAK is.

Also as a note, most of the texturing you see is actually temporary and will be changed or at least heavily modified before release.

I actually worked on a gameplay cog last week, it worked perfectly... but now it doesn't! And I still need to scale back a lot of stuff...

A shame making these vaguely fancy areas devours my motivation to make detailed gameplay. Oh well, TODOA's meant to be a sweet fattening dessert to the hopefully gameplay-rich level contest levels anyway.
