A) you can't tell the scale
B) the scale is perfectly fine
C) there are blank, mostly empty stores as place-holders. this is a beta version, work in progress. did you think i never intended on detailing stores? it isn't even fully textured yet.

i do like playing L4D but i took a crack at making a level and it's really not my cup of tea. this could possibly be converted to a L4D map if i dumb it down a lot, but its very big... so i don't think it would work as a survival map. and it isn't an insanely long string of a map, so it wouldn't work as a regular map either.

No offense but this looks more like a strange military facility or something rather than a mall.

is that just default textures?

yep, it's HL2 dev textures. used for measurement and stuff.

i mean i suppose the screens could be making it seem different, but in game it's pretty obviously a mall. big open hallways and large floor to ceiling pillars with balconies and handrails and bridges connecting walkways between stores are pretty much in every mall. could be the lighting... the map is set at night and it's dark because, well it's the zombie apocalypse!

I live by the second biggest mall in America. The scale looks right to me! :D
