Something about the nose makes it look like it doesn't belong there. It might be the perspective, or maybe just the very distinct shadow that's cast. It might just be her face. Fantastic technique from a technical aspect.

I think I had the most trouble with the nose out of anything, so I'm not surprised if it doesn't read right. The shadow's cause I was using a flash photo as reference--maybe if I'd gone over the background shadow with the same value it wouldn't look so out of place? After looking at it for so long I have a hard time making calls like that

Excellent use of value, man! Also, it's smooth and subtle in all the right places and bold and dark in all the right places. Very nice.
