Well, its solid colors, but its a texture...... Well it means I've got the UV and the material templating done, all thats left is the details and lighting and shading, you know, the hard part. I'm also trying to texture with photoshop instead of paintshop pro (psp), and hoping it will be better. Right now it feels harder because some things take 10 steps compared to 2 in psp, but hopefully I can get over it. Anyways, the weapon I've done is the imperial light repeater, designed to be as lightweight as possible, it combines a durasteel alloy caseless slug with a powerpack. It spins the round in a chamber to polarize it as it aligns it with the barrel which accelerates it away from the rifle. From this acceleration, the slug fragments but stay close together due to electromagnetic forces and causes both blaster bolt style damage along with the small flechette-like fragments penetration. The concept was a smaller, mobile, sustained fire surpression weapon capa...blah blah blah. Noone cares besides me I bet, so here's the model.
