CaveDemon builds a geetar case

I've had my guitar for over a year now, and still haven't bought a case for it, instead i've been carrying it around in the cardboard box i got it in. Now i got some plywood from my mother-in-law-candidate, bought some 15x15mm wood, white leather and black velvet, and started building a guitar case.

I didn't take pictures during the process, since my camera batteries ran empty and i forgot to charge them. But here are a few after putting the leather on.

Immediately after putting the leather on:

After putting the velvet inside:

Then i thought i'd emboss the logo of my favourite band on the leather

Oh, and i worked on the velvet. Now it's looking pretty damn sweet :)

I don't think your case is square*. :P

Looks nice. I hope your guitar is comfy in there. >_>

* - Not the shape, but the carpentry term for when a rectangular board does not measure the same across both diagonals, indicating it is not a perfect rectangle.

That's pretty impressive.

Pretty nice, my Ibanez s-series has the same finish. The only thing your case seems to be missing is the little pocket that lays under the neck.
