So I need to make a movie for a class at school and here is my basic idea.

Plot:
A man is running down a street from some men in suits and passes a time transporting device to an ususpecting bystander. After the bystander finds out what it is, and uses it in atempt to make his life better butinadvertantly makes thing s worse. Eventualy the same men in suits from the begining track down the device and get into a fight with the bystander whom accedenlty uses the device to go back to just before the fight began and runs from the men to no avail. He then realzes that the ability to alter time isn't worth the pain of reliving it and goes back to befor the devise was handed to him. The bystander sees the man who origanaly handed him the device and turns away. END

This is still a rough draft from which Im going to build a script. What are your thoughts.

NOTE: This is still a rough draft.

OH, the thread title is the title of the movie, possibly, the other idea for the title was "The Device"

Umn... how do I phrase this in an unbeetchy manner...?

If you're cool with using an idea that has already been abused to death, and possibly bordering on plagiarism, then this has capacity to be epic win.
Examples:
"Schroedinger's Hummingbird", short story by Diana Roland
nearly every episode of "The Twilight Zone" ever, but especially the one with the time-stopping pocket watch that breaks...

If you aren't cool with it, now would be the time to switch gears and revamp your plot.
