I spent the weekend in London with my girlfriend and remembered to pick up my camera. I got way too many so here's my favourites! :)

Gorgeous photos, with some nice editing! Of the eight, my favorites are 2 (fountain in front of Houses of Parliament), 3 (the underground), 7 (millennium dome), and 8 (reflection of tower bridge), the most memorable of the lot. I've never seen Houses of Parliament from that angle, so kudos for surprising me. Maybe raise the exposure a tad on the fore and mid-ground? I know it's nice to see a blue sky in London, but I want to see the details of the fountain and parliament as well. :) Did you shoot in raw?

The underground shot is a nice use of "the miniature" effect, makes me think of my model train set as a kid. The Millennium dome shot is traditional, but looks incredibly professional. I'm no expert, nor do I know how many other pics you took, but some of these (with the correct editing) could definitely sell on some stock photography websites, and it would be good timing with the Olympics coming up. Speaking of which, the last shot is just fantastic. The left side of the picture by itself is eye-catching, looks like the the Olympic Rings are hanging from Tower Bridge (which I'm sure was intentional). The right side is not what I was expecting, and it's a pleasant surprise. The dog, isolated. I love how you've accentuated that by blurring out the the background, including a small crowd of people and even his owner. The Olympics are going to make London an even *busier* place, so I love this picture, because it has that sense of building anticipation, but it's also a kind of quiet before the storm.

Oh, yeah, and those Olympic rings *are* hanging from Tower Bridge, lol. I just took a closer look. I thought they were logos painted onto the pane of glass on the London Riverside. Still a really creative shot thought.

Thanks :)

Actually the dog's owner was nowhere to be seen, the people behind it are sitting down. I took a few variations of that shot, waited for some people to walk out the frame and *bam* a lonely dog appears from nowhere. That became the keeper, obviously!

Yeah, the rings are hanging from tower bridge but I thought it looked good in the window :)

Here's the original, just so you can see how lonely the dog really is!

Definitely a keeper! Impressive work for a little Casio Elixim, your editing and cropping convinced me everything was shot with a much more expensive camera. I love editing. :D

Would you mind if I use the "lone dog" picture as a banner image on my personal facebook profile? I was looking to put something Olympic-themed up and this is unique.
