"A Rhyme For Wine"
A thousand leagues away
There was a castle by the sea
Behind the walls of grey,
A man and woman, by a tree
He wanted his wine ruby red
She ordered white
The servant said,
"Perhaps something to bite?"
"You're right," the young woman agreed,
"Some sandwiches would sure be nice."
The servant left with speed
He hardly needed be told twice
The pair killed the time chatting
About their castle's Master
How strangely he was acting
When he fired the old Spell Caster
The wine had soon arrived
It wasn't the servant who brought it
It was the new Spell Caster. "Hi," he cried,
"Here is the wine! Let's drink and eat!"
He put the sandwich basket by the tree
In his stride, a hint of limp
"I took an arrow to the knee."
The sun had suddenly went down, and there was wind
The magical attack came from castle gates
The old Spell Caster had come back
Intent to seal his enemies' fates
Dressed in a robe of bloodied black
The young pair grabbed each other by the hand
Afraid of sudden night
Not quite the night they planned
Thunder! Screams! A blinding light!
The new Spell Caster stood his ground
As energies collided
Around the two magicians, roaring sound
Into the air their glided
Explosions all around
Wild magic! The new Spell Caster tore his enemy apart,
Made sure his body's never found
He looked around; his spell choice wasn't smart
A thousand leagues away
There was no castle by the sea
Only a young Spell Caster, hair now grey,
Two empty bottles, and no tree
