And it'll only cost $100,000,000 per unit!

Just some new shots of my level. These shots are of one of the supercomputer mainframes in the rebel base. The mainframes themselves are in special super-cold rooms, as you can see in the pics.

Things I already know I need to do:

-Spruce up the back wall, it's completely bare.
-Add some ceiling lights and brighten the room as a whole
-Add a control "center" in the middle of the room.
-Add some computer screens to the two "platforms".
-Have some cold air blowing out of the vents in the mainframe rooms.

I like it. With the additions you plan to make, it should look very nice. Just add some pipes/wires along the walls as well.

One other thing...wouldnt storing mainframes in super cold rooms hurt the mainframes!? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Anyway, nice work.

You can have most computer parts well below freezing without worry.

Yeah.. I remember seeing one article on a hardware site where the guy took liquid nitrogen and used it to cool a P4... ended up overclocking it by quite a bit (iirc correctly it was a 2.8P4 and he got it up to 3.89GHz or thereabouts).

I want liquid cooling quite personally.

I would add some more interesting things as well. Maybe consoles to check on the mainframes' condition, etc.

Looks good, just add some pipes or pillars of some kind, and the things you already said, and you'll have a great level so far.
