So why no Gene Hackman for Lex Luther??

And Kate Bosworth for Lois Lane....Are you serious??

The list goes on...

Anyone else think this movie would be much better off trying to reprise as many roles as possible?

I have no doubt Kevin Spacey could be just as good a Lex Luther as Gene Hackman.

No. With that line of thinking we might as well have Gene Hackman playing Lex on Smallville.

wouldn't it suck to play the "Previously Wealthy Woman"?
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

It's a completely new movie. That means a new cast. That's the way it works.

I think that's a white, wool trenchcoat.

What's up with the woman in that picture? She looks like she's wearing a wig.

didn't think I should start a new thread beens this one was hardly even dead.

New trailer is up

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/supermanreturns/

think that confirms that Kevin Spacey makes a damn good Lex.

Not too sure on the story line though, looks like they are continuing on from the last movie and superman takes a break of some sort before coming back to save the shuttle

Looks like Kevin Spacey is going to pull off another masterful performance. I loved his bits in the trailer.

Kevin Spacey is going to be amazing as Lex.

Also, I am glad that they used the original John Williams theme.
