I know you must run out of material to write in fortune cookies after so many decades. But ...I don't get it.

You know how people say, "If I told you, I'd have to kill you"? Well, if I told you what that fortune means, I think I'd have to kill myself.

I don't believe you because The Master doesn't believe you.

IT means the master isn't screwing your spouse.

Where are your manners. It's "Master" with a capitol M. It's an obviously an important being whom I need to highly consider the opinion of.

So someones higher power is saying you are always right when arguing with your other half? HELL YEA
2008-10-24, 7:50 PM #8
It's almost grammatically correct. It reads 'The Master does not take the same side as your spouse.'
2008-10-24, 7:50 PM #9
It's clear enough to me. The master doesn't take sides.

Sorta like how the master of America doesn't really care whether Obama or McCain wins, because both are acceptable choices for figurehead.

You ended a sentence with a preposition. You *******!

Seriously though, I had a fortune that said "Have a nice day" once.

I read it more as 'The Master does not take sides. Nor does your spouse.' Which makes sense I guess because you can't ever ever ever win a fight with a woman

DO NOT WANT.

To be honest, I sometimes look at it this way:

The Master (being you after some experience or whatever) doesn't "take sides," which is the same quality as your spouse, who also doesn't take sides?

I think it makes the mose sense if you read it as

"A master doesn't take sides. Neither should a spouse."

Because then it's actually advising you of something and fulfilling its duty as sagely wisdom.

It means, your spouse is cheating on you. You should too, if you want to be the Master.

Neither of them take sides, they take it from behind instead.

I couldn't resist.

I thought it might mean that the Master does not take sides in the same manner as your spouse, meaning that the Master will not favour you.

Or maybe it means the opposite of that and the Master will favour you but your wife wont because she's a whore.

If you'd read the article..

Quote:
In his next appearance, in The Deadly Assassin (1976), the Master (played by Peter Pratt under heavy make-up) appears as an emaciated, decaying wreck, at the end of his thirteenth and final life.

The way I understood it was "The Master doesn't take sides. Unlike your spouse."
