Man, I've completely forgotten to include all my Mac SE/30 related purchases (basically an SD card reader and a new ROM chip) here lately.

    But anyway, just ordered these:

    https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/produc...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/produc...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Got a weird Russian version of the latter on 1 LP, has the second half of the actual album IIRC or something weird

As for "recent sales", I actually managed to sell my early 2014 computer innards (Gigabyte Z87X-OC, i5-4670K, Noctua NH U12S, Kingston 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz) for 77.05 € - far more than what I expected for such old parts (I was expecting 5bux or something)

Of course, I had to get "creative" with a combination of an antistatic bag (seen in the picture), bubble wrap (not anti-static), A4 paper and tape when packaging it, so who knows how well they'll survive transit. Boh!

I dunno how you define "recent" but I bought these things this year:

Here's the full build -- not all bought at once, some parts are from as far back as '12 and prices are what I paid for them at the time of purchase.

Also, a Galaxy S20 Ultra but I can't really take a picture of my phone with my phone.

And yes, the floor is ****ed. It's been there since 1908 or so. Not my fault or my problem. Also, wife's desk. Mine is holding an unreasonably large pile of jeans.

Do you do podcasting? Or perhaps that's just your preferred gaming setup. Inquiring minds want to know!

Got one of these for the mobo that I transferred to my backup computer since its M.2 slot remained empty:

Imagine being so unwilling to learn Blender that you’d pay $30 for a bunch of untextured beveled cubes.

Is Blender relatively easy to learn?

    To that level, yes.

  16. #3656
    what if

if I made JK levels in blender, thus switching to 3do archi and skipping JED altogether

of course, that'd require me actually learning how to use blender beyond stealing models from other games

  17. #3657
Blender is painless especially if you've used a 3D program before. But if you're new to 3D programs it should only take you a few hours to orient yourself to do the most basic things, and from there the world is your oyster.
Though I've been picking at 3D software for 5 years I only starting really devoting my time to learning Blender over the last year and a half, the digital newsroom here was made completely in Blender.

I wondered about that when the topic came up here.

(Of course, I put it into my secondary computer because my current one's mobo doesn't have extra USB 3.0 sockets available - nor 3.1 for that matter, if I looked correctly)

I've got to hand it to you, I haven't handled the recorder just yet - the digitalization of records (by Frideric Handel) with its line-in function will remain untested for now

On the plus side, I noticed that I haven't used my regular pizza joint's vouchers in a long time, so I got to order a pizza for 0.10 €. Une jacquepot.

    epson xp-5100

my HP printer's feed problems reached the point of "**** it, new printer"

i will say one thing... HP is so much better at the print head alignment process... it prints one page then scans it, epson still prints like 5 pages and has you manually enter which looks best

Decided to order one of these 1050TIs even though (according to some first-google-result GPU comparison site) it's technically worse than the ridiculously outdated GTX 770 that I currently have in my backup rig. But since it fits the mATX case better, meh.
