A headphone amp and DAC respectively (dubbed the "Schiit Stack").

Got them to pair up with my new headphones:

    Beyerdynamic DT990 (250 ohm version)

Sounds fantastic, and although far from cheap, it's also as much as I am ever willing to spend on audio gear. The Schiit products sound absolutely pristine to me (which of course makes the fact that they sell far more expensive stuff hilarious to me). That said, if you haven't heard of Schiit (and yes it's pronounced how it looks), go look at their website and read all their product FAQs. Pretty funny stuff.

First mechanical keyboard I bought. $130. Feels well built and fun to type on. But now I feel like a dirty consumerist whore. Matches the Thinkpad color though.

Also, I wouldn't have been forced into doing this catastrophic event if some f***er hadn't stolen my spoon at work.

I like how they've actually put out a good album by ditching Peter Hook.

    He'll be furious.

I'm liking the album, but I always absolutely loved Peter Hook's prominent bass, so I'm not going to pretend like I don't miss it on the new album as well.
