I bought some Bang & Olufsen h9is and some Jaybird Vistas.
I'm only keeping one but I'm not sure which.
I ran out of duct tape so I switched to those nicer ones for good... and decided to rip (most of the) duct tape layers from the previous ones to reveal the damage under the surface which prompted the whole duct taping to begin with:
Annoyingly, the closest things to those classic keyboard rests that I've used aren't even in stock and are ridiculously priced at that... https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/prod...ahkajaljitelma
... or do I actually have to get something like this and just separate the keyboard rest part from the other structure https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/produ...tails/45-246#/
Boh.
i cannae wait
Hey, I think you make good JK levels; I'm betting if you put in the work you can do something good in Unreal. Best of luck
Thanks. My first impressions of that FPS kit are that if it had been available to me back in 2016-2017, I might have gotten something proper done on UE4 years ago. Alas.

Alright, now that the last asset pack I need in order to recreate 58_YuandaZhu_Underground.dx in UE4 is mine (thanks to a sale), I might get something done in UE4 in... several years time. Stay tuned!
Hey, so I checked out your website. I didn't have any Haribo gummy bears though.

New or used?
like i can afford a new gibson

I was just wondering if the fit and finish is still absolute toilet these days.
well this one is a 2016 and a lower spec model (from what little i can find on what they were selling for new it looks like a little under $800) the finish is really good... it's not their full gloss because it's the faded model with the "worn cherry" so they put a thinner finish on it to begin with
the neck joint you can slightly feel where it is on one side while the other is perfectly smooth
the frets are properly leveled (as i understand they PLEK everything and there is always the possibility someone did more to it since 2016)
the fret ends could use some light touch up to smooth a couple out... nothing bad and i could leave it as is and be fine with it... i've felt worse on more expensive guitars, i've also felt better on cheaper
i've heard a lot of negatives about the tektoid nuts they put on these and i can't say for sure if it is the factory nut or if any work has been done to it but so far i've had none of the famous tuning stability problems
also being a lower spec gibson... it came with the gig bag... not the worst gig bag i've ever seen but on a brand with memes about headstocks breaking if you look at them funny it's just a bad idea... i currently have my strat in it for the lulz

what are you a cop or something
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.
Also, while I didn't buy this one, it's still a wild price for JK in 2020:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-D...orig_cvip=true
(Also interesting to notice that much like Deus Ex's USA boxes, the US box JK also seems to have the glossy/shiny ... bumpy... font for the title logo of the game, whereas the surfaces of the EU game boxes were (for 99% of the time to my recollection) completely flat)
Embossed
Let me know what you think of Daikatana. I think I got laughed off this forum when I bought it back when it was released.
collectors man... though technically that one isn't 100% complete as i see none of the extra paperwork... i know damn well there was more in that box than just the game and the manual and if i had the time to go through every storage box in my garage i could produce a truly complete copy (though in a significantly more beat up box)

Yeah, a lot of the current JK boxed editions on eBay seem to have the registration cards(?) as well. Except for this one which I glanced over due to my vague desire to actually have the JK+MotS boxes after all these years (due to having to chuck them away right after buying the games for x reasons). But not for those prices, blimey.
Had to buy this SCSI2SD adapter for (originally) my (father's) Macintosh SE/30 and Plus computers, even though the customs fees for that adapter will be astronomical.
Hopefully it'll work so that I don't have to get this which would not only result in even bigger fees, but is specifically stated to not work as a hard drive for the SE/30... so it might not help me with this stuff after all. Crikey!

funny story about this... i bought the cheap mics (one being a $20ish copy of the SM58) then shortly after entered a giveaway for the SM58 which obviously i won... and then happened to get them all today

If you get more I like these a bit more than the pyle stuff for cheap 57esque you should check them out.

Not sure if these will really help me with plugging my C64 to my HDMI monitor (for non-intensive purposes, mainly just to see if it still works and the like), but... still.

The human eye can only see exactly 23.96 fps.
