That's too bad, though, the manuals were the best part of Jane's games. I played F-15 all the time, it was great!

That's gotta be atleast 2 grand worth of useless crap. Honestly. The rest of it looks to be the "Gamer/OC/Ultra/Whatever" edition stuff with inflated prices.

Okay smartass, Why would anyone need 4 120 MM fans, Win7 Ultimate, 8 gigs of DDR2, or watercooling on a video card.
Bonus if you are able to justify this for home use. I'm not mocking the guy, I'm sure he had tonnes of cash to blow and if this is the way he wants to do it good for him. I'm just saying most of that is dumb stuff that wouldn't really benefit performance.

I purchased this at the St. James Art Fair in Louisville, KY. The painting (it's actually ink & paint) is of a street in Montmartre, Paris, France (the area where my wife lived & worked before she moved here). The artist has several other pieces done in the same district & we'll probably try to buy those as well. We managed to pay about $70 less than his asking price.

That seems like a pretty reasonable price. I would like to know what you think of it. I'm not into PC gaming other than old games and the occasional RTS or Diablo so basically I would only be concerned with how well that video card would handle SC2 or D3.

Far Cry2 on high is perfect, l4d2 high no problems, i haven't really gotten time to mess with many games, sadly

i've got a preorder of New Vegas waiting from my birthday, so we'll see how that goes. The changeover did something to my regular ol' fallout3, it runs too fast now.

the reviews i read had a couple people whining they couldn't play SC2 on the highest settings

It's funny that you can play modern FPS types games maxed out but an RTS would bog it down. Sort of opposite how things used to be. The graphics were relatively basic before. On some of my old systems it wasn't the graphics in an RTS that hindered the performance but the massive amount of units I had developed. I don't know about SC2 but WC3 wouldn't allow vast numbers.

I notice that particular brand have many models there with some slightly more expensive. Hey, thanks! I might buy a computer sometime soon.

It's a 1968 L79 327 small block. It's got a Holley 750 double pumper on an Edelbrock RPM manifold. 461 camel hump 2.02 heads, ported and polished to perfection. I had it bored up to 4.040, so it's technically a 333ci now (2.02 radius, 3.25 height = 333.4). I've got it cammed up a bit, with lift at .588 /.593 and duration at 294°/306°. Forged pistons and stainless valves. I've built the heads myself, all I have to do now is install the rockers. I've got a mechanic who specializes in engine rebuilds installing the shafts and bearings for me because I don't have the precision tools to be able to do it right (I'm not about waste all day playing with feeler gauges!). I should have the short block in my garage on Friday or Monday, and installed back in the car next Friday.

Other than the machine work (boring and honing) and the precision short block stuff, everything has been done by me personally (with the assistance of others, of course). I've also spent considerable time on non-engine items - door locks, brakes, wipers and headlights, steering (rack and pinion, **** yeah) all that fun stuff.

I actually have two pretty decent minidisc players, although I think my daughter has one (that she certainly isn't using).
