Yeah.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

nah PBR was fine until it became a hipster drink. Now it's all expensive.. and is still nasty.

I found some Anchor Steam Beer around here once. Was pretty nice. Didn't taste like Half-Life 2, though.

Guinness with a meal is awesome.

Prefer cider on its own, but...
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

be thankful... here's how natty ice (AKA natural ice) is made...

take a 5 gallon bucket and fill it 3/4 full with water
drink epic quanitities of bud light
piss in bucket until bucket is filled to top
put in bottles and cans and sell to public
eat right, exercise, die anyway

Wow, that's pretty much how pepsi is made, except you drink coke instead of bud light.

Scotch for me tonight.

As for beer I have no beef with Nat. Ice. I don't prefer it, but it all serves the same purpose. As for Pabst, I acquired a taste for it some years back. I didn't like it at first, but whenever I would head out with a couple friends to a certain bar we would all drink it out of tradition/mockery of another friend of ours. After a while it grew on me.

It's kind of a guilty pleasure now since, as DSettahr & Antony have demonstrated, you can't mention it or be seen drinking it without some idiot pointing a finger and claiming Hipster. Which is the dumbest thing ever. It's an 'Old Man' beer. Always has been & always will be in my eyes.

Anyone wanting to claim otherwise is welcome to come to my little old Polish town filled with blue collar workers from the factories & mines of Detroit. Go ahead and enter one of the bars on any given street corner. Then point a finger at the eighty-something year old man sitting and drinking a bottle of PBR at 2:00 pm and call him a Hipster.

If you're lucky, he'll stop to rhetorically ask you "What the F**** is a Hipster?" before he knocks you cold. If you're unlucky, those old factory/mine buddies of his sitting by the door with pool cues (also drinking PBR), and that you didn't even notice were there, have already had some young idiot call them that... and they didn't quite like the sentiment.

Perhaps it is because I'm from Wisconsin (not to mention we are the only state where bars actually outnumber grocery stores in every county), but PBR is dirt cheap for me. Then again, most beers here are. Been a huge PBR fan since I started drinking. I got a PITCHER of PBR for 2 dollars Friday night after I was done with work. Even Miller Lite + Bud Light (ugh Bud) were more expensive.

As for Natty, PBR, and the like, I don't mind beers like that on a really really hot day where i'm looking for something more cold and refreshing than "tasty" persay. I'll always take the PBR though.

Yeah, the pbr stuff in Gran Torino does come off as a bit product placement-y. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't constantly refer to it as Pabst, or complain that his neighbors didn't have Pabst... or always have the label facing the camera... You know...
