Nope. they disappear as in they stop existing after 30 seconds into the level

Might be hitting the thing limit. Even with the unofficial patch there is still a limit, the patch just made the limit larger.

There's less than 50 things in the level, and there are no cogs involving these 2 things. it's 2 crates I put up for decoration, no clue why they disappear like they do.

What template are they? Some crates have a built in timer (eg. by a cog specified in their template) that destroy themselves when a certain amount of time has passed after they are created. They were used on conveyors and lifts in the original storyline.

18crate2x2 and 18crate3x3_2. says they are walkstruct but i'll change them
