    Awesome Games Done Quick 2013!

This thread is for awesomeness going on for the Awesome Games Done Quick 2013 event - a video game speed-running charity live stream marathon running all this week (January 6th to January 12th) to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

If you wish to follow the event, you can go to the main marathon page here:
    http://marathon.speeddemosarchive.com/

However, their main page is getting hit rather hard, so I'd suggest going here instead:
    http://www.twitch.tv/speeddemosarchi...mosarchive.com

You can check out the marathon game schedule here:
    http://marathon.speeddemosarchive.com/schedule/

Our site webmaster, Cool Matty, is serving an important role for the event coordinating some of their backend stuff.

Check it out, donate, and spread the word!

    Some incentives for you all!

For every unique forum member who posts in this thread, I will donate one dollar ($1) collectively on Massassi's behalf on the last day of the event.

For everyone who makes a story post on NeS, I will donate an additional five dollars ($5). You can read the details here.

For everyone who participates in my forum game, Terminal Testament, I will donate an additional five dollars ($5) as well as give incentives for those who donate themselves. You can read the details here.

Ten years from now Massassi will have a hundred thousand members, millions of speedruns archives, and be worth a billion dollars.

    Nice, Flirb.

It would seem that several people didn't notice that a post means I donate more money. Either that, or they hate that foundation.

While there's still the last game they're playing officially, I've gone ahead and donated to the charity. Thanks for everyone who posted, and who donated themselves and spread the word!

While the intent had been to only do the $5 per person who posted that week, for a variety of reasons, I ended up donating the $20 for that part - $5 for each of the players, which included you.
