I thought I killed a roach last night
2013-04-25, 8:40 AM #1
I got up last night and went to the kitchen to get some water. Standing by the sink I thought I felt a tickle at my feet. I flicked on the light and sure enough a roach is scurrying around and runs into a corner. I look around the kitchen for something to kill him with and I see my ka bar sitting on the counter. Grab it and bring it down on the roach cutting him in half. I'm too tired and lazy to clean up the guts and pieces so I left it there for the morning.

Well, here I am 6 hours later and both pieces are gone. There's 2 roach legs sitting there but neither of the two body halfs :tinfoil:

It was eaten by a larger, fiercer roach.

Have any pets? Perhaps the roach was gobbled up.

I don't have roaches but I kill other bugs occasionally and leave the smushed carcass there. I like to think the corpse serves as a warning to other bugs. Of course they probably lack that intelligence/instinct and probably just view it as food.

It really gets me that the body is gone but there are legs sitting there. Did they really devour the entire body right there? Or did they carry the body across my floor and back into wherever they go? For some reason the thought of a roach in my kitchen doesn't spook me, but the thought of roaches carrying other dead roaches in my kitchen or eating other dead roaches does spook me.

What are you talking about, saberoopsiedaisy? There's nothing like putting Roach in your urethra and rinsing it back and forth until it has dissolved into hundreds of tiny pieces.

Last night was even worse. I was doing the dishes and I thought I stepped on a piece of food that I dropped. It stuck to my foot so I lifted my foot up to get it off and there's a huge half dead roach stuck to the bottom of my bare foot. Guts squirted out all over my heel and legs frantically waving at me. **** this place, officially.

You should really clean up your roach, after you're done cuttng it in half.
