Trying to remember a quote
2013-05-26, 10:28 PM #1
My google-fu is failing me here. I can't seem to find a quote I've vaguely remembered. Roughly:
Quote:
"I've come to realize that in almost all of the times in which I've gone against my own judgement and listened to the criticism of others, I was actually right all along."

but with a bit more detail, so that the whole thing is about 4 lines.

I just remembered, it was Shaw who said this!

So does that mean you shouldn't surround yourself with idiots?

I just wish there was, like, some kind of search engine for this kind of stuff. All I get on google when I try to find it is "Youth is wasted on the young". Actually quotes are wasted on young me in 2013, because I remember seeing it back then and now google is being stingy and memory foggy...

THat's why our president needs to fire his advisors every few months. Remove the unstable dummies from your life and you're left with the stable genius!

The income of a late career is wasted on the old.

Seriously old people waste money on the stupidest ****. Oh, wine tasting, you can taste wine at home. I want to visit Poland, give me your income.

So many people are incredibly lame. A lot of people's ambitions consist of buying an ugly house that's way bigger than they need in an awful, depressing gated community, and then buying Tesla, or BMW 7 series. Thanks for letting me know in advance that you are boring so I don't accidentally waste time trying to make friends with you.

Honestly you can visit Poland with very little income.
nope.

Also, it's my righteous opinion that the thing you want to use your money on is a stupid waste, Reid. ****, where do we go from here.

tbh the problem for travelling usually isn't money, it's time off.

Should've thought of that before you decided to live in a country with garbage workers' rights.
nope.

Found it!

Can't make out what he wrote though.

Well, yeah, he WAS wrong but he THOUGHT he was right, like most socialists.
