I was curious at first but when this trailer came out I pretty much realized this is just for babies. Something about Chris Pratt's voice acting feels so weird... I feel like I'm just sitting next to him in the studio while he's recording his lines.

i did get my chuckles in at some of the physical stuff ("first try", "to the invisible jet"), but ehhhhh.

Amusing, but I'm not sure if I could sit in a theatre for an hour and a half of that.
You can't judge a book by it's file size

The moment that sold me on this movie was at 1:02 where it is clearly obvious that his backpack is glued onto his body. Beautiful attention to detail (completely unironic).
Also, I can kill you with my brain.

Anyway I can't hate on this. It seems fun.

No, I can't accept this. This is Massassi. I'm going to expect an over-analysis of the underlying themes. I mean Will Ferrell's character is named 'Lord Business', and apparently paying $37 for a cup of coffee is a great deal. Unless that's just a subtle joke on how Lego's are basically the most overpriced toy EVER, this thing smells like a documentary about consumerism and industrialism.

I'm kidding of course, it does look like a fun movie. :awesome:

(goes on to read next line, blinks, and looks around the room.)

I need to get out of this place!

You totally had me.

What is it about fan sites of 1.5 decade old games that create such a nerdy, introverted monoculture??

What is really impressive is that it is almost 100% stop motion.
