I'm pretty sure I would rewatch Solo or Rogue One before rewatching TFA or TLJ.

Rogue One is probably my least favourite.
I also disliked Gareth Edwards' Godzilla film for similar reasons; it just never made me care about any of the characters.
Oh yeah the characters are v. not interesting
They weren't even colorful enough to be caricatures.
Odd, seems like you'd be able to relate really well to that.

I couldn't care less about a Sonic movie but I thought it was hilarious that it was okay for the fans to be critical of that film but they're racist, misogynist, etc. when they are critical of cinematic masterpieces like The Last Jedi and Terminator Dark Fate.

There's been lots of this content on Reddit, aka 'advertising in memes: the platform'. So yeah, it's confirmed.
I guess is the new way to manufacture good will from your user base
Wow, I saw exactly the same sentence on 9gag. Although 9gag is pretty much just a big reddit repost.
Sorry for the lousy German
jfc, it's no joke the most obvious astroturf campaign ever:

Every thread too doesn't have people meming along, just lots of people suspicious. I wonder how much Reddit charges for this service? It's gotta be good business to deceive your user base.
Thank you basedMovieStudio, very cool
They "fixed" Sonic! They listened to us, and we should totally support them!
I hope this movie ****ing bombs.

I've successfully avoided paying attention to, well, anything really in the past few months (years?) so I didn't even know that there was a new Terminator film. Or a Sonic one, for that matter.
Sadly, still no sequel to Woody Woodpecker (2017), though.
Any of you guys see Parasite yet? It'd be a bit of an understatement to say I'm hearing good things.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

I'm super stoked to see Parasite.
I randomly heard about and watched a documentary Grey Gardens.. to describe it loosely, it's about the cousin and aunt of Jackie O. They were once wealthy socialites living in a huge house in the Hamptons.. eventually losing family and all money for various reasons and turning into eccentric recluses and hoarders. It's just the most bizarre thing you'll ever see. Not up everyone's alley, but if you find that kind of thing interesting it's definitely going to work for you.
Kathleen Kennedy really knows how to agitate the fandom: "There’s no source material. We don’t have comic books. We don’t have 800-page novels."

Well, I think she wanted to remake what she had in her (or Her or HER) image but even if that isn't the case of all you had were six wildly successful films that demonstrated a wide range of what works and what doesn't work, you really wouldn't need any more than that. If course the irony is not lost on me, though. Throw out all of the books and comics and then complain that you don't have any... George Lucas must be rolling around in his grave.
