I saw this movie on a whim last night with some school friends. I had seen an interview with fat Christian Bale where he talked about it, so I cautioned them that they were going to be basically watching my nightmares on screen but they wanted to see it anyway. I don't think anyone felt particularly good afterwards but we all agreed that it was a great film.

It's very well done and beautiful visually, though when you are shooting outside in my neck of the woods it's kind of cheating, since everything around here outside of the cities is amazing. It's definitely a high anxiety watch, and it has me missing the Marines hardcore, but as a film it is very solid.

Anyone else seen this?
