Sick Peterson Dunks
2018-02-20, 12:32 PM #1
Since apparently this will be an ongoing topic, let's keep a thread dedicated to dunking on the man Jordan Peterson.

Looks like someone doesn't like casual sex? Huh.. libertarian up to a very short point.

Also, Zizek trolled JP in a followup article a day or two ago which mocked JP for getting mad at a quotes Twitter. Also Zizek agreed to debate Peterson and I hope to God that actually happens.

read this as 'causal' sex. Was hoping to learn about a new epistemic foundation for consent. Much disappoint.

Dear god that would be amazing

We should invite Jordan to our forum.

Two charlatans with diametrically opposed beliefs. Couldn't get any better.

Zizek is at least a lot funnier.

Yes please. Spend all day dunking on him. You reading this JP?
2018-02-20, 5:34 PM #9
Oh god please no. The last thing we need is for this place to intersect with social media. I seriously hope you guys are joking but this isn't really funny.

**** you
2018-02-20, 5:41 PM #12
disinvite or I picket

Brian, don't let him register, and ban anybody that corresponds with him on Twitter and links here.
2018-02-20, 5:43 PM #13
You do realize that everything negative you ever wrote about the alt. right on this site will be all over /pol if he links to massassi on Twitter, right? I hope you guys didn't use your real names lol. Get ready to be SWATed.
2018-02-20, 5:44 PM #14
Also, you guys do realize that this site is very easily hackable?
2018-02-20, 5:59 PM #15
You really think he'd give a rat's ass about forums.massassi.net with all of its ~10 active users?
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.
2018-02-20, 6:02 PM #16
See, that's not how these types work.

He never cared about who he was interacting with. A screencap of an interaction with a single individual with lucrative enough content is enough to feed tens of thousands of morons who follow him on Twitter and share it on social media like 4chan. And while they may not particularly care about you for the most part, if a harassment campaign ramps up you could find your private messages all over 4chan and getting SWATed.

Actually, this is the kind of thing where it makes the most sense simply to avoid drawing attention to it. I'll delete these messages if I got the message across.
2018-02-20, 6:03 PM #17
uh RJ you still can't possibly think that somehow Jordan Peterson would like, click a link to this forum or read anything here, much less *register* or *post* something???
2018-02-20, 6:03 PM #18
Also how did we go from Jon's "that guy is smart but has some bad opinions" (basically, but correct me if I'm misrepresenting) to all this so quickly?
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Because Reid said he emailed Jordan Peterson and invited him here, which is a ****ing stupid ass thing to do in my opinion. You can only pray that it wouldn't actually work, so why do it?
2018-02-20, 6:06 PM #20
I think maybe Reid was joking but I don't think Spook was. Spook

Lol, probably not. Fingers crossed.

Same same.
2018-02-20, 6:13 PM #23
Personally, I hope we do get Jordan Peterson'd.

I specifically said he had some interesting things to say within his area of expertise. That doesn’t mean he’s smart or that his bad opinions are few in number / lesser in magnitude.

By which I assume you mean to hope he will add us to his public list of dangerous thinkers so his followers can harass us (even though he definitely doesn’t mean for that to happen, he cannot be held accountable for what happens after he communicates a list of bad people to his core audience of depressed, socially alienated young male uncritical adherents).
2018-02-20, 6:27 PM #26
Rofl, first, he wouldn't come here even if I did, second, I wouldn't invite him because I don't want to, third, I'm too lazy to email him even if I wanted to.

I didn't really consider the consequences, it just seemed like it could be exciting. But like Reid said it doesn't seem like something that would happen, so Reverend Jones' hysteria was amusing.

he'd fit right in with our rag tag crew

He'd be a big get for us. Maybe having Jordan Peterson would revitalize these forums in a way that a site redesign (Massassi Temple 2.0) never could

Tbf Kroko I only lost my mind at the prospect because I've browsed 4chan enough to know that attracting the attention of the wrong crowd on that site is the internet equivalent of contracting HIV.
2018-02-21, 3:54 AM #31
you know, contracting HIV isn't the death sentence that it once was

4chan probably won't kill you, but they can make your wish you were dead. Well, they'll at least try to make you wish that.

Until climate change degrades our supply networks and you can't get your meds. Fortunately, those of us still uninfected have PrEP.

A libertarian that doesn't have consistent and logical beliefs? Whaaaaaaaaat?

Seriously, tired of hearing of that walking libertarian meme.
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

fwiw, he’s a Whig. Liberal individualist who believes in moderate economic intervention. Far removed from libertarianism.
