The Canadian food guide has never included sugar, iirc.

...does... oh nevermind, it does, I'm not even going to ask.

it's good for you, don't ask questions. Humans have lived off of the sugar cane plant for millions of years.

It's also 99% fiber

I’ve eaten sugar cane before. It’s like chewing on wood. Kinda like chewing on poplar, like if maple weren’t a hardwood and you had to chew on a branch to get the syrup out. They’re not a fifth as sweet as you’d imagine. Tasty but the energy expenditure per calorie can’t be great, which is why I’d say it’s probably fine to eat as much sugar cane as you want as long as you aren’t juicing it.

i always liked the taste of poplar

You probably shouldn’t eat poplar.

You know, thinking about it, that plate sure looks like it's pretty high in sugar. It's like we can't get away from it on the modern human diet.

Other than caffeinated drinks, I can't imagine drinking something but water. Pepsi is f'in gross.

2019-01-24, 8:14 AM #16

2019-01-24, 8:25 AM #17
Is that for a rabbit?
2019-01-24, 8:58 AM #18
All I eat is 100% rabbit-fed rabbits, for that double rabbit flavor
